Active service
- Since the Second World War the Argylls have seen more active service than any other Scottish regiment, serving in Palestine, Korea, British Guiana, Berlin, Suez, Cyprus, Malaya and Singapore, Borneo, Aden, Germany, Falkland Islands, Kosavo, Bosnia, England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
