Access Keys
We have implemented access keys so that users can use the keyboard to navigate to major areas and functionality on ClacksWeb. The access keys are used in the following way:
- Press and hold the "alt" key
- Press the key defined below
- Release both keys and then press the "return" key (for Internet Explorer users only)
The access keys have been assigned as follows, as far as possible following UK government standards:
- 1 for Home
- 2 for What's New
- 3 for Site Map
- 4 for Search
- 6 for Help
- 8 for Terms and Conditions
- 9 for Contact information
- 0 for this page about Access Keys
Please note
Some browsers do not have access key functionality, including older Netscape browsers on Apple Mac's.
