Licence - Breeding of Dogs

If you are applying, registering or giving notification for this particular licence then you can arrange for the Licensing Administrator to send you the application/registration form you require or for you to collect forms at the Council's main office at Kilncraigs. You can also download a PDF of the form on the Licensing Application Forms page and lodge the completed form with the appropriate fee and necessary supporting documents with the Licensing Administrator by post or by calling at Kilncraigs.

An application to allow you to breed dogs for sale. If you do not intend to sell the puppies, you will not require a license. If, however, money will be exchanged, you should apply for the appropriate licence.

NB:

The Fire Master will request a fire risk assessment to be completed with your application form. A template can be downloaded from the following website: http://www.infoscotland.com/firelaw

We aim to complete the paperwork within 6 weeks from the receipt of all the appropriate information and payment of the requested licence fee.
