Trail Cycle Leader Training
As a result of the Adventure Activities Young Persons' Safety Act, Scottish Cycling introduced the Trail Cycle Leader award.
The course lasts for 2 days and 1 introductory evening with an additional 1 day assessment, and will be held in Clackmannanshire. These courses are based at Gartmorn Country Park.
The award allows the holder to lead groups on public highways, way marked routes, rights of way on which cycles are permitted, routes, tracks and trails with obvious navigational features and with low to medium technical difficulty, below 600 metres in height and not remote.
Training dates for 2012
- 9th - 11th May: Fee - £130.00
- 18th - 20th May: Fee - £130.00
- 31st August - 2nd September: Fee - £130.00
- 5th - 7th September: Fee - £130.00
