Clackmannanshire Ramblers

Clackmannanshire Ramblers logoIf you enjoy walking in the countryside and prefer being with a group of like minded people than on your own ... the Ramblers Club is for you!

Walks are designed to suit the over 50's and take place within Clackmannanshire as well as further afield. For further information, please contact us using the details below.

Walks in Clackmannanshire Booklet

Clackmannanshire Ramblers have published a booklet of 30 walks in and around Clackmannanshire. The booklet costs £3.00 and all proceeds go to the Ochil Mountain Rescue Team.

The Ramblers meet every third Tuesday in the Car Park behind the Alva Factory Outlet, West Stirling Street, Alva. Walks are led by experienced club members while Countryside Ranger staff are present to interpret the natural and historical heritage. Car sharing is used to travel to the start of local walks and coaches are hired for more distant venues.

NB: Walking boots and waterproofs are required for all walks!

Annual membership costs £10.00. An additional charge (£9.00) is made for walks requiring coach travel. For all outings, meet at the Beam Engine House at the start time shown.

Booking is essential for all outings requiring coach travel - contact 01259 213131. Payment must be made at the time of booking.
