Clax Art

  • Day: Group meets fortnightly on Tuesdays
  • Time: 6.30 - 8.30 pm
  • Age: 12+
  • Venue: Resonate Arts House, Unit A3 and A4, North Castle Street, Alloa

Clax Art is a group for young people aged 12+ who have an interest in creative arts or would like to develop their skills in this area.

Young people will learn and experience new forms of creative arts which will allow them to expand on their own skills and potential.

As well as learning skills they can also get the opportunity to act as peer educators for younger children.

Young people from the Clax Art Youth Group which is run by Clackmannanshire Council's Youth Services have been part of the launch of Resonate Arts House Happiness Festival.

Exhibition

Young people involved in this group are currently exhibiting their work as part of the Happiness Festival over the month of April at Resonate Arts House.

The theme of the exhibition is that of the self - the thoughts, feelings and emotions relating to individual mental wellbeing.

A private viewing was held on 30th March 2012 along with friends and family to celebrate their work and achievements.
