Social Policy

Deirdre Cilliers
Head of Social Policy
Although Clackmannanshire has a strong local economy and is a good place to live, there are still people who are affected by poverty, disability, ill health, unemployment or inadequate housing and rely on specialist services to support them for short or longer periods.
The Social Policy Division works towards developing opportunities and services for those who need help so they can live as independently as possible, as well as promoting choice, giving people better access to services and building capacity in our communities.
