  • In September 2007, the primary school population was 3,931 and in secondary schools 3,030
  • On average the occupancy levels in primary schools is 74% and secondary schools 82%
  • In February 2007, 22% of Clackmannanshire primary school roll and 16% of secondary school roll was entitled and enrolled for a free school meal
  • There was a 92% attendance rate for primary, secondary and special schools in 2005/06
  • Over 70% of S3 pupils stay on to S5
  • In 2005/06, 50% of school leavers went onto higher or further education
