100th Birthday and Diamond Wedding Anniversary

If you, or someone you know, residing within Clackmannanshire, is due to celebrate a 100th Birthday or Diamond Wedding Anniversary (60 years), and you wish to request civic recognition for this special occasion, you should contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

It is usual for the Provost, or in their absence the Depute Provost, along with the Lord Lieutenant of Clackmannanshire, to call on the person/couple to present a basket of flowers on behalf of the Council. The timing of the Provost's visit will be confirmed to the applicant by letter.

Notice required

In addition, if details of the birth/marriage certificate are provided at least 4 weeks prior to the celebration, a message of congratulations from HM The Queen can be requested. A minimum of 4 weeks notice is required to allow contact to be made with Buckingham Palace.

It may also be possible to arrange a photocall through the local newspapers.
