Next Partnership Meeting: Tuesday, 6th March 2012

The Clackmannanshire Alliance Doorstep Crime Partnership was set up in 2011 following concerns raised by local residents about bogus workmen.

Whilst doorstep crime is rare in Clackmannanshire, when it does happen it can be extremely upsetting and have a significant impact on victims.

Our Doorstep Advice booklet provides a range of information and advice for local residents.

Our jointly published 'Think Jessica' booklet is affiliated with the Think Jessica campaign which was set up by the daughter of a victim of scam mail and aims to raise public awareness to the extent of the criminal mail problem in the United Kingdom.

You can also view our page detailing common scams, which provides examples and avoidance tips.

Work in progress

A DVD entitled "Doorstoppers" is in the process of being finalised in partnership with the Stirling Doorstep Crime Partnership.

A national trusted trader scheme known as Buy With Confidence has been joined and is in the process of being set up locally.

Meetings

Partnership meetings are held quarterly and you can view or download the minutes of meetings.

Meetings are open to any Clackmannanshire Community Council or organisation interested in working with others to reduce doorstep crime in the Clackmannanshire area.
