Clackmannanshire Alliance Structures
The Alliance is supported by Partnership Teams whose role it is to develop action plans to give effect to the strategic vision outlined by the Alliance. There are six Partnership Teams:
- Community Safety: chaired by Central Scotland Police
- Health: chaired by NHS Forth Valley
- Economic Development: chaired by a representative of the private sector
- Environment: chaired by the Council’s Development & Environmental Services
- Children and Young People's Partnership Team: chaired by the Council's Services to People
- Community Learning & Development Partnership Team: chaired by the Council's Cultural & Community Services
In addition, the Alchohol & Drugs Partnership in Clackmannanshire has replaced the Substance Action Team and now carries out its functions. These overlap with the themes of the Alliance's Partnership Teams, so the Alcohol & Drugs Partnership will work with the Alliance to deliver on relevant outcomes in the Single Outcome Agreement.
Other key regional agencies who are not core members of the Alliance contribute to community planning in Clackmannanshire at Partnership Team level.
The Partnership Teams and the Alliance are supported by an Executive Group which comprises the Partnership Team Leaders, representatives of agencies named in legislation and the Council Head of Strategic Policy, who chairs the Group. The Executive Group’s role is to:
- oversee the work of the Partnership Teams and ensure regular progress reports are provided for the Alliance;
- act as a source of advice to the Alliance to ensure overlaps and linkages are identified and acted upon and new or emerging issues are reported to the Alliance;
- oversee cross-cutting themes.
