Integrated Children's Services Planning
"Children are our future"
The first Integrated Children's Services Plan was published for Clackmannanshire in May 2005 covering the period 2005 - 2008. A draft interim one year plan is currently being developed for 2008 - 2009. The following summary documents are also available with the 2005 - 2008 plan, which you can access through the link above or at the bottom of this page.
- Executive Summary

- Parents/Carers' Version
This document can also be made available in a format that meets your needs.
The plan sets out our own and local partner agencies' joint priorities and improvement objectives for all children, young people and their families in Clackmannanshire until 2008. It is intended to be a driver for change and links together relevant policies and focuses on the better integration and provision of services which have a positive impact on children and young people.
The plan was produced in partnership with NHS Forth Valley and a wide range of statutory and voluntary agencies including Central Scotland Police, the Authority Reporter, representatives from the Children's Panel, voluntary organisations, carers, parents and importantly, children and young people.
Our Vision
"That every child has the best possible start in life and every child achieves its potential".
In order to achieve our vision, we will strive to ensure that:
- Services work collaboratively and inclusively with all those who have an interest in children and their families.
- Children, young people and their carers have access to high quality services when required and should be assisted to overcome the social, educational, physical, environmental and economic barriers that create inequality.
- Children and young people are served by an integrated service, all staff regarding themselves as operating within that integrated service.
Children's Services Planning
The Integrated Children's Services Plan and Children's Planning Fund has been steered by the Children's Services Planning Group, which consists of representation from each of the key service areas.
