Bookstart Clackmannanshire
The Books for Babies project is a joint initiative between Forth Valley Health Board, Clackmannanshire Council and Booktrust to encourage parents and carers to share books with their babies from as early an age as possible.
Bookstart Packs are given to all babies born in Clackmannanshire so that all children have access to books from a young age. Parents, carers and their babies then have the opportunity to read together and discover the enjoyment of books and enhance early language and communication skills.
